Nice coin and great pics. I see also that it matches the DDO-001 on variety Vista site. I do have a question maybe you can help clarify. What am I missing seeing when looking at the RTY and date that shows double die vs. Machine Doubling? Thanks

Great question Altec12. This variety is often confused for Machine Doubling when in fact it is a Doubled Die. The key aspect of the doubling on this coin is that the doubling enlarges the devices. So if it were Machine doubled, then the device would be smaller rather than enlarged like we see here. Coop has a more elaborate explanation on this kind of difference here: http://goccf.com/t/336382Thanks for the kind words! -CH27

Nice one. I don't have one of those yet. Hard to cherrypick!

Indeed. I believe QuarterHoarder initially cherry picked this one before it made it into my hands. I'm glad to say I own one now. It's getting increasingly tougher to find.

Excellent as always CH. Good explanation of those doubling that look like MD. I like to think about it in terms of cookie dough.
MD - same cookie form, just cut into the cookie and pushing the edge of cookie shape out with the cookie cutter. So the tall parts get smaller and cookie stays about same size.
Shallow Doubled Die. Slap on a thin bit of flat cookie dough to the edge of the cookie. The high part of the shape stays the same and overall cookie gets larger.

That's a great analogy! Thanks Sheldius.
