Hi guys,

I have this 1951 S Lincoln Wheat penny and noticed that there is something going on with the rim at the top left back of Lincoln's head. (See 2nd photo). Can someone help me determine what this error is please?

Looks like if might be lamination errors peeling off the rim. If it isn't PMD.

Looks more like a struck through debris. If it were a lamination it would not have wrapped itself over the rim with an extra layer of metal. There is no missing lamination peel, so I feel it was a struck through copper debris on that area. The rest of the coin is not affected.
