First of all, my apologies for the bad image of this coin. I just started to learn how to post images about three days ago. I tried to crop it down to 300.0kb, but it would not go, got it to 297.7 0kb and it went.So to the coin I have, is a 1960d nickel which shows strong thickness on the obverse, on the letters and date. Hope you can see it. I believe it is WEXLERS number VI. Any feed back would be appreciated. THANKS.....

Not too bad of an image but if you cropped the picture maybe we could see more detail.
Good luck with your find.

Thanks TNG, I will try to do a better job at it. Took photos from my iphone. When I get the hang of it, I will send more photos showing mild notching on the bottom of the letters. I tried to find out about the 1960d business strike, coin with Distended hub doubling, but could only find it on Proof coins. Also on the reverse their is also thickness and mild notching and serifs. Will send photos, of that to, and I will try to get a closer shot of the notching, and serifs. Thanks again....

Good response. There are a lot of 1960 Doubled Die proof varieties as it sounds like you already know.
It sounds like you have the same book I do.

When I'm editing a photo on my I phone I go to the picture, click edit, then this screen will come up. Click on the box I highlighted, you can rotate and crop your photo from there.
