Not sure what you mean by "red star"n(?). Both stars at the end of the serial numbers look green to me.

You have a 2013 $50 New York star note. Part of a large run of almost 2M notes.

nfine you are correct , my daughter went through a stak of 50s and found one like the one above with the flag and red star.

Yes, where exactly is this red star? I see two small green stars and one large blue star.

The large blue star over the red waving flag stripes is what it is supposed to look like. There will always be some red ink (from the flag stripes) that gets into the blue star areas that are void of blue ink. It's just the printing process that is used.

Otherwise, I have no idea of what you are talking about.
