Hi all,

Is there a difference in this coin between the Canberra and Wales product? If not, how do people on Numista know they have the Wales version?

Thanks Steve. After looking at the links and other linked resources I have decided to leave the Canberra vs Wales issue aside. There is just too much uncertainty and worst of all, even if one could definitely describe conistant differences, there is still no way of knowing if those differences reflect different mints. Unless the original dies from the mints or specimens known to originate in each mint are examined I can't see how this can be resolved.

I've got some information at http://www.coincuriosity.com/view/1...c-piece.html - the magazine articles that I reference are quite good.
I'm trying to chase down good images of the other two mints as well.
