Hello,
A friend of mine has a coin bought from turkey in the 70s .It look like a 1 kurus 1115 struck in constantinople , it weight 25.55g and a diameter of 40mm
But it has a unique patern under the last name ,We couldn't find a similar one .
Can you help me identify it ? And what is its value ?

Numista has this silver coin at 38mm and 26.5g (25.5-26.5 Standard Cat of World Coin)

On the obverse the flower at upper right looks similar but is a different design that either Numista or Cat of world coins. Neither photo had the added symbol you reference.

I see a somewhat similar symbol on numista 1/2 zolota date 1115 Ahmed III. Perhaps that can get you pointed in the right direction to determining what that symbol is. I see various symbols through the ottoman years there.

OR I am certain someone with knowledge on here will jump in and provide an answer to what that symbols says or menas.

Are you talking about the waw-like character below the "n" of al-sultan?
