Hello I found a 1972 Lincoln DDO, but with so many types I am not sure which one I have. Can someone help me please.

I'm looking for some later die state examples of this die. The die state is not the two that I have images of already. Note on the this one, the angle die scratches are gone on the OP's coin.

Tough call on this one. I actually now think it's DDO-008 as the tail is thicker. However, it looks like there is a bulge on the tail of the 2.

Did you note the differences on the 'U' on TRUST on the images with the 003 and 008? The 003 has the devices shorter than 008 and the 003 had the bulge on the '9'.

I guess it is the DDO-003 then. A lot of markers are completely worn away.

True. That is why we determine the spread of the hubbing of each of the dies, rather than looking for missing markers. Some markers may have happened before/after a coin is struck by the dies. But the spread will remain the same. The die will show more wear as the die ages. But that is true for all dies.

So the winner is DDO-003? I appreciate it everyone that's why I put it on here. It's just too hard for us novices to be sure. I leave it to the pro's.

Awesome find! Looks like DDO-003 to me as well. Certainly a neat find!

Awesome coin. DDO-003. The best way to tell is the little hump on the tail of the 2 as Coop said.
