Ok, so I was definitely wrong on the last 2 post but is that a clipped dime during mint or PMD? I'm not the best evaluator on coins well at least not quite yet but if u see anything I'm missing please let me know!! Ty!!

PMD, filed or sanded down. There is no weakness opposing the clip. If you have a clip on the NE side, you would see some strike weakness in the SW side.

I would expect to see some weakness on the rim at the center of the missing metal if it were a clipped planchet. I would also expect to see metal flow across the anomaly. Even the smallest clips that I've seen show this type of deformation of the rim.

I agree with this being a normal dime that has been damaged. The edge isn't reeded there.
