navycapt1635 Valued Member United States 220 Posts	Posted 10/16/2020 5:07 pm All, I have several of the same coins (1959, 1960-D pennies) in what I estimate to be a mid-high MS (some photos of which I will be posting today or tomorrow for your grading help (I'm having issues sending the photos from my phone to the PC right at the moment). It seems to me that if they are suitable for submission to auction sites (e.g., GC/Heritage), I should NOT submit them at the same time so as not to "dilute" their individual value. westernsky Pillar of the Community United States 7613 Posts	Posted 10/16/2020 5:39 pm Too many of the same date/denom/condition on any auction site will negatively affect auction results. It falls into a supply and demand situation. Also remember that unless your coins are high end examples (MS67/68/69) you are gonna have a tough time recovering your costs and trying to turn a profit. I assume that collectors go to multiple online auctions, so even sending the same coins to different auction companies would result in the same outcome? ijn1944 Bedrock of the Community United States 19113 Posts	Posted 10/16/2020 8:36 pm I'm with westernsky. Cents such as '59s and '60s would need to be approaching MS68+ (exceeding actually) to reap any financial benefit. If you do submit some, lets know the outcome. Report this Post to the Staff
Lancek Valued Member United States 442 Posts	Posted 10/17/2020 5:03 pm Heritage probably won't even want them. Then tend to deal in high dollar items or large collection. GC only auctions graded coins. You can send them to them raw, and they will submit for grading. You still pay for the grading. But at their lower cost. I don't think what you have is valuable enough to cover the grading costs. Report this Post to the Staff
