Sometimes seeing a doubled die side by side with a normal coin, will help train your eyes. Thus I use a lot of side by sides when I question a coin:
1942-S---1-DR---005-LWC
1942-S---1-DR---005-LWC
1942-S---1-DR---005-LWC
1942-S---1-DR---005-LWC
1942-S---1-DR---005-LWC
It helps your eyes to pick up differences:
1942-S---1-DR---005-LWC
1942-S---1-DR---005-LWC
1942-S---1-DR---005-LWC
1942-S---1-DR---005-LWC
1942-S---1-DR---005-LWC

No. Just helping new ones to see what makes a doubled die a doubled die. And what doesn't. When you question, try the side by side method. Seeing the devices enlarged takes a time to achieve the eye for it. Then because the doubled dies are are not all the same strength, then you need to compare to see if it is a doubled die or not wi side by sides. This helps so much.
