The Nixon Presentation Ike dollar that was discovered several years ago had a questionable provenance. https://coinweek.com/featured-news/...20signature.

Today, there exists other previously unknown Nixon Presentation Ike dollars, the difference is that these have a provenance letter.

This is the 1971-S proof presentation set from Mary Brooks (Director of the Mint) to President Eisenhower military aide (General Schulz).

Very cool!

That Ike to General Schulz is in pretty rough condition; wonder what its story is. Haze, toning, what looks like tarnish and what looks like fingerprints. Just poor handling and poor environment, I suppose.

President Nixon autograph (initials RN) on the "one of the first strikes" Eisenhower dollar gift letter has obtained pre-certification!

Full-chain-of-ownership established with a provenance of US Mint to President Nixon to Congressman Stephens to DrDarryl. I purchased the letter and blue pack from Congressman Stephens estate back in 2018.
