Hi all,

Was going through some coins that my grandpa gave me and I found this 1939 penny that looks like it may be plated? It is a shiny silver color. I can't find much info on such a coin. Hoping you guys can help tell me what this is?

Thank you

Thanks all for the info and the welcomes! Yes I have many other nicer coins that he gave me haha. This one just jumped out as strange to me and thought it might be something cooler.
