@rjlavoie, same thing happened to me. Now I am dropped down to Platinum level. Which level are you?
I wonder if I still retain my rep now that Platinum excludes reps.

@MoneyPenney, I'm down to Gold. I have enough orders waiting to ship to bring it up to Platinum level, if they count it.

I went from Platinum Plus to:
"You are $250.00 away from unlocking the benefits of BRONZE membership!"
I have sent an email to inquire, but it sure makes the Mint look like they do not know what they are doing. Sad.

I presume this will all get straightened out after all of our histories are re-loaded into the new Master's Club. I can't imagine that after only 1 or 2 days they have all the bugs worked out -

SAME HERE. I went from Platinum Prestige to NOTHING just like yourself. I got the same thing you did asking me to join when I logged on. I hope this is fixed soon because it looks as if none of my purchases for 2020 are counted. What a mess.
DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THAT IF YOU HIT PLATINUM PRESTIGE, YOU ARE A MASTER CLUB MEMBER FOR LIFE?

All the same as me, except I did have

Then the next day,
"Keep earning! You are $XXXX.XX away from unlocking the benefits of PLATINUM membership!"
Note - another X was added.
I wonder if we'll get the % $ code to redeem from last years purchases?

There must be a glitch in the Mint's MC program because now I have been bumped from Platinum to "New Collector". Not only that but I no longer have any advance notice of new releases which usually comes out on Monday night. So, have people that have this MC status problem, receive any email with new releases? I got notice from CC&C but not the RCM. |

So, have people that have this MC status problem My transition to the new program was correct... they retained the spend level I had in 2020 and am in at the appropriate level (Diamond). I also received the January release notice last night (Just after 9PM Pacific or Midnight ET). I added an entry. http://goccf.com/t/389902 |

@Moneypenny, There certainly is a 'glitch' I signed up, and the website put me in "Bronze" - I then placed a web order for $30. Under my 'real' status that should allow for $0 shipping - instead, I was charged $7.99 shipping. I then emailed my rep with a 'snip' showing the total of the bill - including my 'Bronze Status' and the $7.99 charge. He replied with "I have forwarded your complaint upstairs". In the meantime, I have placed my usual New Year's order by email through my rep - to ensure I get all the benefits I'm entitled to. @New1954 said: Quote:

As a newer collector this is really disappointing. I don't think I would be able to hit the $3,000 required for platinum given the low variety in 2020. It's very disappointing to see dealers on ebay selling 40+ Masters Club coins and having to pay almost a 100% premium for some of them. |

I am really excited by the master club "Birthday gift" benefit. 1000 points. Wow! That the whole $1. For me there was never enough incentive to by from RCM. I maintained Platinum level only to get access to Master Club coins. In 2021 I am going from Platinum to None. No more buying from RCM directly! I can buy most of the new coins with 5% to 10% discount from the dealers and not to pay 7% of BC PST either. On $3000 that means savings of ~$400, which can be spent overpaying for a few coins on ebay. |
