@seap, that shelf-like doubling/tripling looks like Machine Doubling to me. It is a fun find though.

A very loose machine that damaged those edges right after the strike, Just Machine Doubling. Business strike coins are only struck once, the die bounce after alters the devices. Whether so called, doubled/tripled/or more, was all caused during the one strike. It to call it that it multiple, it not a true statement. Just altered after the strike.
