What happens when they continue to leave the die out of alignment? It alters the die and the coins start to look like this:

The collar alters the dies shape. Note how the devices are disappearing on the affected area:

Note how close to the rim the devices appear and only affect that one area?

Yes, you noticed that. What's with the quality control at the Philly mint?

Any Philly mint employees on this forum? It's time to PCS the entire Philly mint workforce to Denver and the entire Denver workforce to Philly.

No doubt in my mind, the quality at Philly would change overnight!
