Hello All I picked up these 2 bowls with a Silver coin on bottom of each. Were these made in 1800's to be sold this way? Posting Under US coins also for help with 1 of them. Bowl with coin 2.5 OZ each. Paid $25 each-Please Help-Thanks so Much

Wrong category however... top coin is Peruvian 1 Sol 1870. Bottom is some kind of American medallion and not a coin at all.

These were probably manufactured much later, into the 1960s or newer, for the tourist trade.
