I don't know if it's damage or a coating error on the eagle's legs?
I would like to know what you say?

Looks incuse, so it is probably, well placed damage. Note the die state of your coin? It is a nice earlier die state. Nice clean fields and the devices look very fresh. Note the fresh feathers on the breast. I'd save that one.
