Hey there newbie here trying to understand this confusing coin. No date, lots of wear, but possible DDR? Die crack on obverse?

@mb, yes if you can give us a little more information about what you are seeing with the coin in hand, that would be helpful. Where are you seeing a die crack on the obv?

I am just not seeing any doubling or die crack. Where do you see the doubling? Where is the crack?

Photos are better, but we still need a description from you as to what you are seeing with the coin in hand. I see an X on the cheek, but that is damage, perhaps intentional. Otherwise, I'm just seeing a well worn nickel.
