Hello everyone. I was curious as to if you gus thought this was either a die break or just damage to the coin. Looks to be a 1962 Silver Roosevelt Dimeb but the 2 on the end is really messed up?

Looks more like damage. Like a vending/counting machine might damage on a coin. (The line is circular, thus I feel it was done by a machine rather than coin contact)

Yes definitely mechanical damage which has "smushed" some of the metal from the number 2.
