I just received an email from John Wexler.

Coin #1 is a 1959-D Lincoln Cent with a potentially new RPM listing. I am happy to say that by the middle of November the Wexler Files will have a new attributer for the RPM varieties. Because the files are currently in a transition to their new home, I cannot do any RPM attributions at this time. Watch my website for further news on RPM attributions.

Coin #2 is a 1986 Lincoln Cent that I cannot find any listable doubling on.

Coin #3 is 2016 1¢ WDDO-002 which is already listed in my files.

Coin #4 is 2004 1¢ WDDR-118 which is a new listing for my files.

Coin #5 is a 1986 Lincoln Cent that I cannot find any listable doubling on.

Congratulations on coming up with a new listing. If you decide to send the doubled die off to ANACS to be slabbed with the Wexler File number, be sure to include a copy of this letter along with the coin.

Sadly the ones I was hoping for to be new listings weren't, besides the 2004 column DDR and the RPM. If anyone remembers those DDRs, I was convinced that they were doubled, and so were others, but I believe my lighting was tricking me.

However 3/5 certainly isn't bad. I'm still happy with the results nevertheless. I wish John the best of course.

Congrats SilverCents! Does this mean we're going to get a new attributer and we'll be sending in stuff now?

Congrats on the new listing!

When did you send these out? I sent Wexler an email about a potential submission a while ago and he never got back to me, I assumed he wasn't doing submissions.

Yes, there will be a new attributer for RPMs. I've been hearing rumblings of there being a new attributer for a while now.

Tanman nailed it, yes, eventually with time we'll get a new attributor that'll be working with Wexler, mainly related to the RPM files.

I sent them out in the beginning of August. However he told me Covid has been quite terrible and the package took a long time to get there. Along with the fact that tons of packages are filling up his time as a lot of folks have turned to coin collecting to fill their time. So he is quite busy with attributions that he has to catch up on. For the time being my guess is that he probably isn't taking attributions because he needs time to actually catch up on the ones he hasn't reviewed yet. I never got a reply from him till now, which isn't an issue at all, but it shows that he probably received your email, and just hasn't had the time to read it. If you've already sent the coin out my guess is that it will eventually get attributed in the next couple of months.

Again thank you everyone! Glad I could contribute!

Cool! Glad for someone to help him out. Guess I'll have to wait until 2021 to send in my package. LOL
