Normally I am not that interested in die clashes, however, this one caught my eye. The one point that I pondered is why the very strong bay 3 and except for an indication of column 2, nothing after that?
The dies are very slightly convex so when they clash they come together first in the center. It is possible that only the center area of each side made contact.
Possible, but I kind of doubt it. How would this answer for all the complete clashes with all bays I've seen from this era...and the clashes are a lot shallower than this one.
I'm thinking something had to be warped oddly to create this effect.
