I have what appears to be a 1964 nickel, although the date is not completely legible because the area of the coin face is too small for the imprint. All of the writing is partially cut-off around the entire perimeter of the nickel, the rim is raised more than normal, and the coin is slightly smaller than a normal nickel. Has anyone seen this before?

Dryer, or spooned. Google 'spooned coin'.

to the Family.. and , with all the above, either spooned or a Dryer Coin, it didn't leave the mint like that.

The distortion in LIBERTY tells me it is a Dryer Coin, not a spooned coin.
