Seeking your collective wisdom. Let's say I have a LMC that has die break evidence in 2 different locations on the reverse and the longest break through "STATES" and "OF" terminates at the top right corner of the first "T" in STATES. AND! at this point there is a tiny spring retained in the strike. Those of you more familiar with the process of striking coins may know where such a small spring is involved in the process. Working on getting images. Lost best angle. Working on that. Opinions? What if? I have seen the tiny silver spring in the coin and the die damage it caused.
