In spite of re-focusing my collection to 16-18th century Austrian Talers I still have quite a few 19th-20th century German State coins. I share a few with the forum.

I really like the simplicity of the 1815 Thaler from Bavaria.
Does the reverse inscription say "For God and People"?

Very nice coins, I especially like the reverse design on the 1854 Thaler.
