I may help to have reverse images as well as both are involved during a die clash. But so far its looking like an over polishing of the die that was deeper into the die recesses. When this happens the edge of the fields can be reduced. When this happens, then the coins will show a rise on the fields near the design. Thus it alters the die, in a bad way. But its looking that this may have happened on the die that struck your coin? Reverse images will show us more to confirm it.
