Now about the bird, I have search the Alexandria but this coin looks different, also the head of the bird is more closer to stymphalos or peacock than eagle. It's a hard one and maybe rare. Reminds me of the peacock standing on a caduceus/kerykeion on some reverses from Samos...with Hera obverses. Not sure if the ΔΡ monogram would fit with that though. Report this Post to the Staff
