The host coin looks to be a Philip IV maravedis of some kind, With a castle obverse and a lion reverse. I'm not sure what it has been made into but it's probably another denomination(later) of Maravedis. Report this Post to the Staff

january1may Pillar of the Community Russian Federation 5177 Posts	Posted 11/04/2020 3:08 pm The 160x (1600?) date is probably original; the 1652/1662 date (IIRC, 1652 is expected) is a counterstamp, certifying a value of (probably) 4 maravedis. That said, I'm not exactly an expert on Spanish coinage - I've just seen a bunch of similar coins attributed on CCF.
