we rarely get to see and grade these. the coin details appear to be in the G6 area, however I just dont know if they are lenient in grading these for planchet issues such as corrosion. I would think they would take that into consideration and that would assign a details designation to this coin. this also may lower the grade a point. in any case thanks for sharing this special piece of history

G-6 but I can't see this one in a straight grade with the heavy pitting.

I believe it's an easy G6 but the EAC would most likely net the coin to a G4++ for the obverse roughness. Another superb coin!

Thank you for your grade opinions.

I grade this VG7 with a net of G4 to AG3 due to the rough and corroded surface on the obverse, in addition to some marks.
