I'm just trying to figure out what happened to give this Penny the texture it has. It seems to me that the date and liberty are missing details.
I'm not sure why the ear looks weird to me but that's why I'm asking for a second opinion and hopefully get answers for these questions.

Maybe this will help the bow tie and upper lip is a little doubled the second nine is almost non-existent and half of liberty as well

Cool, that's what I thought but I have to ask. I am new to collecting but haven't spoken to anyone that knows anything about it.
Is this sort of thing worth anything? I don't really go online or do research which I know it's a bad thing but that is also why I joined the group. So I could learn.

It is a minor Struck Through Grease but not worth a premium.

All the texture if from zinc dust that was on the planchets, before they were plated. (Didn't get rinsed correctly. No premium on your coin. Just a spender, unless you want to save it as an educational piece to show to another new collector.
