I had to pull out multiple different pennies and see if this was on all of them or not. I also took multiple pictures to see if it was maybe the angle I had it and none of that changed what I am seeing. Can anyone confirm this for me?

I would normally agree with you on it being post mint damage if it wasn't for the fact that it's not really damaged.
There are also No indentations of any kind that I can see in that area.

FYI, we call them "cents," not "pennies."

They are contact marks. The facial area has a lot of them. The ear lobe that appears to you as doubled has a contact mark at the bottom of the lobe that runs SE to NE. The lip area shows a contact mark that is even more SE to NE. Wish it were better news but unfortunately it is not doubled.

Thanks everyone. I guess if you guys say so. I'm not the expert you guys are. Maybe I just need to get some sense instead of looking at cents.
I do at least know that it's called a cent and not penny which is primarily a Canadian thing. FYI

On a doubled ear, the area affected will be raised, no incuse. Check out these examples. Make sure to enlarge to see them at their best.

Coop, I'll admit you sure did. That's a gorgeous 1943 copper.

I bought a bunch of books years ago full of Canadian cents. Some dates there are as many as a roll and some more than a roll. I paid what the books would have cost for them. Over 1K cents.
