@renee, knowing the diameter would help confirm, but this looks like an 18th Century Thaler from Salzburg Austria. Here is a link to the numista page to get you started:

No prob at all. Looks like @gc steered you even closer, which is really great. The bishops hat at the top of the rev always means Salzburg to me, but it looks like maybe Olmütz also used this symbol. Clearly I need to do a little research of my own.

Olom after the guys name on the obverse,bus a shortened Olmutz. I think he was archbishop.
