A couple days ago I pair of Lincoln proofs was pointed out to me where one was a 1960 small date. It's a nice coin, PF66 or so, and so I bid $7 for the pair. The other was a lower grade 1959 and figured it didn't add much value.

Originally I lost the auction, but got a "second chance" offer. I asked the seller if they were the same coins or replacements and he said original buyer backed out and that they were the same coins. I got them for $6.88.

I filed the small date and figured I'd take a look at the 1959 as well. Turns out I totally missed the DDR in the photos! Fairly strong on ONE but slight doubling visible elsewhere.

Ha! Yes I have a day job. I got home at 6pm like a normal working stiff after spending 8 hours cleaning and repairing bat nets and field gear. How's that for a fun day, which is pretty much what I will be doing for the next two months as it takes forever to fix everything after a six month field season. Of course in the off season I only work three days a week, to make up for seven days a week since May, so there is that.

If the bat's batty then does that just make the Grape "wine-y"? snicker snicker

Ddbrablec, the mods will kill it if I talk about my job on here, so just send me a PM and I'll be happy to let you know how things work in the wonderful world of non-game small mammals, of which almost all the work is with bats.
