I am new to coin collecting/hunting. But I have came across this 1970 Nickel that I cannot find anything remotely similar to on google. Can any of you please help. It seems as though the mint mark is a diamond and the "D" in God is a backward "G"? Any help is appreciated.

@mama, first welcome to CCF. Second, yes I agree that both letter Ds have sustained damage.

I sharpened the image to show the lettering betteralso what about the mint mark? Also does anyone know of a good coin book that has all valuable errors for each coin, penny, nickle, dime, quarter? I have the Red Book but it's a little much ti take in as I am new to this. Thank you all so very much for your time!
