Can you search through them for specific dates? If yes, I would jump on that deal.

If there turns out to be numismatic value in some of the coins, that is a good deal. If it is all junk silver, it is an average deal.

$3.45 melt value, so they'd have to be nice enough so the numismatic value adds a premium.

melt value is less then actual sale value for any silver coins right now in my experience.

$5 per is about as low as you're going to find them without a whole lot of work--unless you are a dealer paying 6-8 times face. I wish.
