Spender or keeper? Any value? I think its mis aligned and the rim is pointy making it almost half as thin as other dime from the same time period that I have. The right is also a 1976. Any help is much appreciated, thanks in advance. The second picture is the 76 in question next to an 81 dime on the left.

The affected one (image 4) looks like damage to the coin. All the coins presented look normal from what I can see. no mint errors present that I can see. (Best to confine you comments/description to one coin per thread. Then all attention can be give to it.)

Ok thank you. All other well the two left and right in each picture are for comparison to the thin rim. Thanks

Probably the best way to show it as a comparison is to cut out part of the extra coin, to make it as "sample coin for height". Another reason the rim could be higher is from being left into a commercial dryer and the out side edge reeds will be flattened:

Left in a short while will not affect the coin that much, but if there in there for days, the damage will continue to get worse.
