Hi everyone, I just picked up this MTT at spot price from a reputable dealer. However, I am a bit uncertain as to the variety.

It is just shy of 28 grams, but it is only 39mm in diameter (which, I believe is a bit smaller than most 20th-century Austrian MTT restrikes).
The brooch on the obverse is ovoid, and there is one dot before the saltire on the reverse. There are two dots within the innermost band of the central shield on the reverse. However, the eagle's claws appear to be short.

Any guesses as to the Hafner number or the relative date of production would be really appreciated! Thanks.

Hi sel_69l, Thanks for the suggestion. I've been looking through the various types and forms of MTTs delineated on this handy site:
http://www.theresia.name/en/svariants.html

But I'm still fairly stumped aside from the fact that it was likely minted in Austria after 1853 and before 1945. Of course, there are several Hafner varieties produced during that span of nearly a century.

Maybe Hafner 57. Often a bit below 40 mm.

erafjel - Thanks! I was kind of wondering if it was Hafner 57.

Does everyone else agree?
