A few minutes ago, my son found a German 2 Euro cent coin in a roll of Lincolns.

To celebrate 100 pages of our obsession, let's also celebrate our best find (or two)last yr and justify our addiction. Post pics if you want or just call it out. For me, it was a great yr. After yrs of searching I found my first 1999-P WAM in MS condition. I also found a 1972-P die #1. in VF condition. Could not pick between the two so mentioned them both. Anyone else? Jim And again, thx for the thread Thad. I have so enjoyed it.

Well, I'm very new to this, but my favorite cent find so far is my 1904 Indian Head in VF. Its not really valuable, but very cool to pull a 106 yr old coin from a bank roll!

Quote: 100 pages in this thread today! I feel that I must say something on the 100th page! Quote: celebrate 100 pages of our obsession, let's also celebrate our best find (or two)last yr and justify our addiction Since I have not roll-searched in almost 15 years now, I do not have any great finds to report. However, I will say that I am quite pleased at the amount of copper I have been getting in my change the last year or so, especially from the 1970's.

I think my best find, like Jim, was my 1999 WAM. I sent it to NGC and it came back MS-65 RD!

My best find undoubtably would be my 1992 CAM out of previously searched rolls. Not only because of it's rarity but because it has bred another 8 or 10 numismatists with whom I am now aquainted and 2 serious roll searchers. It has gotten to the point where I may have to start a club here on base.
