Imohtep - You found 2 of the 2009 series out of 8. Four reverse designs and 2 mints (Philadelphia (no mark) and Denver (D). The 2 you found are Birthplace in Kentucky nicknamed Log Cabin and Presidency in Washington DC normally just called Presidency . Check out http://2009lincolncents.com/2009-li...ent-designs/There where also 4 proofs and 8 more satin finish but you're likely not to find these. Grand total of 20 different 2009 cents.

I agree with Rsxtacee but considering the force involved to punch through like that, I'm guessing a machine did it. Still, no excuse for sloppy work :) That 36S is a tough one! Nice find!

ricardo I just found one of those pennies with a cross centered on it just like that. interesting.
question for you guys: with the CLAMs, exactly how close do the 92' A and M have to be? do they have to actually be touching, or can they be slightly closer than the norm? I found one and they were just outside of touching, but I threw it back.

Oblaka, just compare it to a 1993, if it's the same, then you're in luck. Also the FG should be farther away from the capitol building than on a normal 92.

Yes it is! I see a few more of the 2010 than the 2009, but not much more. Of the four 2009 designs, I have only seen the first three in circulation. I have never received the last one (although I have received some from friends).

Found this today it is close to 1995D 1DER-009T but no markers and the degrees seem to be off a bit. It really shows up good in hand but was tough to get this to show up at all. With a bright BU coin everything kept washing out. Played with it in Paint Shop Pro to give it some color.

just did a box and all I got was 6 wheats. 2 from the 40's and 4 from the 50's. all common and I already had multiples of each of them.

Got halfway through the box last night and ended up with a full '09D set :) pretty nice finds I think. going to get a magnifying glass today because there are some marks on the sitting lincoln's arm that I need a closer look at :)
