We always want to find many wheat pennies as possible but we can not forget is not the quantity that really matters but which one ?! Yesterday I searched a box and cound 28 Wheaties but all late 40's 50's , couple months ago I found only one wheat in the entire box but it was a 1912 d so I was more happy with the single one then with a bunch of commom dates .

I just found this in a bank roll. What is this coin? It looks gold if your looking at it in person.

Its a 10 cent euro. I found a few 1 cent euro's while searching. from my understanding, many countries with these euro coins have the same reverse, but all of the issuing countries have their own obverse for the coins. so your first photo: all of the countries issuing euro's will have that same side. the uncommon side which is your second photo is where each country has their own design. yours looks like it is from france.

here is a link showing the designs of the 10 cent euro from different countries.

Thanks. Quick question. I 2X2 all my penny finds. Is it unnecessary?

Just finished my latest box of pennies. 10 wheats with the oldest being a 1917 and a 1929. The rest were common 40's and 50's.

dMAN: it is all up to you and your preference. by penny finds what does that mean? I search boxes and have too many finds to 2x2 everything. I keep my wheats in the plastic tubes, and same with other finds. if it something really good I might 2x2 it.

Searched through 4 boxes this weekend. Kinda bland. Unusually light on the wheats, except for this low grade 1910, all common dates.

I recently finished the zinc cents from the 3 string boxes. Another 2000 WAM was about it. I finished one box of the coppers. In there were 2 wheats hiding. Both were common 50's. Not too much else in the roughly 700 cents from that string box. Going to hit the other 2 copper boxes tonight.

Finished off the copper keepers. Ended up with another wheat. A nearly BU 1953S. And the only other keeper was................................................................

a 1982P DDO

I have no clue how many 82's I've looked at and this is #1!

I'll add pictures in a couple of hours!

The only find worth noting from the last 2 boxes I did is a 1926 in VF condition.
