I did my first box of cents in probably a month or a month and a half. The results were pretty good and I may want to get back into searching cents more frequently (Mainly because I want the satisfaction of finding an Indian Head in circulation). I found the following: *16 Wheats (Oldest was a 1938, I found two of them). *10 Canadian (Including a 1967 Centennial of Confederation cent) *A clad Roosevelt dime (That's a first for me; finding a dime in a roll of cents). |

Just finished a box at work and ended up with the following:
7 dimes
4 Canadian
1 Bermuda
21 Wheats (1916 being the oldest and a very nice 1954s)
1974d capped (possibly rotated) die
I'll post some pics when I get home...

Here are a couple of cool finds from my latest box. Aside from about 10-15 common date wheats, I found the following 1961 D that had so much lustre when I first saw it, I thought it was brand new.   I also found this 1974 S.   (Sorry about the crazy pictures sizes. I am just getting used to the image optimizer.) Edited by Nobis1

dMAN that is good for a first box, 30 wheat cents. I average about a dozen or so per box.

Just finished going through my $25 for this week. Results are Wheat: 1958, 1941, 1958 D, 1953 D. "S" MM: 1970 S (X4), 1974 S (Z2). Canadian: 1998, 1983, 1968, 1867-1992. What would you grade the '58 I just found?   This is the best wheat I have EVER found circulating. It looks like someone just spent part of their collection... |

That's a couple of beautiful wheaties there! I've found very few mint state wheaties, but they sure are a pleasure to find when they come along.

well I just finished up a bummer of a box 7 wheat pennies, the oldest being a 42D nothing special at all 3 S mints (74,69,68) 5 2010 D (making a roll of these for my roll set edited to say it was a shrink wrapped brinks box I know some people keep track of this kind of thing in their head, I pay it no attention but now you know  Edited by Chriscoinmaster

I know I feel bad saying I was disappointed because I see how low some peoples find rates are

I guess the BU 58 evens it out:)
I usually get around 5-10 wheats.
