the 1005 wheat box was from the same bank that I got the other box with 500 + wheats. I think I will be going back there!

It's going to take me a month to dump...I always feel guilty going into the bank with a lot of coins...feel like everyone is staring at me...paranoid much?

Predictions? 100 pounds of copper...350 wheats...2 indian head...1 blank...handful of canadian cents...and a 1909 s vdm xf of course.

All brand new rolls would mean no searching (unless there are 2011 varieties?)... what sort of premium can you expect on ebay for a BU roll of 2011 pennies?

I just finished with my first (well, technically 2nd) box of cents and here's the first bit of data:

396 copper / 2.5k total = 15.84%
5 Wheaties ('24, '44D, '50D, '53D, '56D)s
1 oddity, a '92 Canadian cent
Vast majority of them were D-mint (I'm in Austin ,TX)
Also of interest, I got 3 S mint marks ('70 x2, '74)

Will try to get some pix up, but it's not terribly exciting stuff.

I ended up with some nice cents from '67-'82 that will make good candidates for the collection. I have a breakdown of all the copper cents by year/mint and when I my eyes uncross, I'll tally up the Zincolns as well and report back.

I also picked up another box of cents today from the bank, as well as a box of nickels and a box of dimes. I don't think I'll get as granular with the next box of cents but probably will with the nickels and dimes for the first go-around.

Now I need to dump 3,800+ cents that I'm not interested in (my actual first box of cents was a box of brand new 2011D Shields). Is there a limit at CoinStar? :)

I've been working on getting a BU set of memorials together from Circulation(Mainly Rolls)
So far nothing too exciting for wheats, just the common years, oldest was a 1914 in about g6.
So far all I'm Missing now(including L/s dates)
1963 p - Have an OK one, just not MS, more red/brown
69 p - Have not found a red one yet
70 p - Red/brown
82 Copper Small
82 Zinc Small
82 D Zinc Large
1992 p - Mine just has some ugly marks on it
2009 p lp2
2009 p lp3

As you can guess, I'm on the west coast, those Philly mints are Elusive!

This guy wants $50 for $25 worth of pennies (shipping included). Minus ebay fees, that's not too bad I guess.

http://cgi.ebay.com/50-rolls-2011-D...em2eb60c7241

Or $0.85 / roll + shipping on this one.

http://cgi.ebay.com/One-new-bank-ro...em2566139196

I don't do enough (any) volume to make selling rolls for a $0.35 profit worthwhile. Silly. I guess I'll keep 5-10 rolls and dump the rest.

Look what I found today in my second box! One of those rare 1957D steel pennies! Only it's not steel (it's not magnetic), but it sure looks corroded like steel and very silver shiney. But why would someone zinc plate a 57D penny?
