Here is what I found 632 copper = 25% 4 Wheaties 37,39,48d,56 68 1982 that I will have to scale. Over all it was not a bad first box. Nice amount of copper. The Wheaties are not rare though. pinkysbliss New Member United States 17 Posts	Posted 07/30/2011 5:01 pm Here is a look just at my Coppers I have in books, have bucket loads of them not sure what I will do with those. I love to go to the banks and have recently found e-bay a good place to get coin rolls and lots for cheap, however my last order of estate Lincolns from e-bay smelled of oil, like motor oil. Yuck! Well any way I still went through them, found a lot of 1920's and a 1917 not in good shape, but added it to my book until I find a nicer one to replace it. Not the best pics sorry, all of these are bank rolls or pocket change. Report this Post to the Staff

For my uncirculated/BU/AU wheaties I have a Dansco album, a little nicer display for the nicer wheaties. I still have a couple of Whitman folders too, one for me and another for one of my kids-I gotta start on a 3rd one for my other child! Report this Post to the Staff
pinkysbliss New Member United States 17 Posts	Posted 07/30/2011 6:49 pm Thank you, I will have to look up the other folders, I just found these here in AZ and transferred this collection to the larger folders which I like better.I have a hard time getting the coins into the slots any suggestions or should I start a new subject on that? As of today in the one folder, I am missing a 1982S..grrr.. But the rest from the Wheats I'm sure I will have to purchase individually. My daughter fancy's those gold Presidential dollars, so I am going to start that sett for her, other wise I get a tons of "So what is the purpose and what will you do with them?" questions, so I don't do coin collection other than that for my daughter, she prefers rock hounding. hehe Report this Post to the Staff
TieAFly New Member United States 7 Posts	Posted 07/30/2011 8:04 pm Yesterday I was at the bank for non-numismatic purposes, and having just learned about coin roll hunting I asked for a small amount ($5) of pennies. Here's what turned up. Total rolls: 10 (500 cents) Copper: 139 (27.8%) Wheat: 5 (1.0%) Oddities: one terribly abused 1999 Canadian cent (I could barely read the date) Oldest: 1944D I managed to fill in a number of holes in my LMC collection (mainly from the 60s and early 70s) as well as replace a couple of cents with nicer examples. Next week I'm gonna try to nab an entire box of pennies from the same bank; I like the percentages of copper and wheat pennies I managed to discover. I understand the production numbers were very low and most people snatched up rolls as soon as they became available. WWBTD? (What Would BadTad Do?)... as well as the rest of you? A majority of the cents I am coming across in rolls are 2010s, so I don't know about keeping those just yet. Of course, those are less than a year old, so that's why I may be seeing a lot of them.
