Hello to all. I started LMC coin roll hunting about a month ago to fill some Harris albums for my 8 year old grandson. I have read all 335 pages of everyone's posts here over the last couple of weeks and have been wondering when I'd be able to post a good find like yours. Well, I think I have found one! Posted this in the errors and variety section last night: https://goccf.com/t/95196Pretty sure from the opinions so far I have found a 1988 D RDV-006 from my coin roll hunting. Wow, I still am having a hard time believing this! Sending it off to get it verified in the next day or so. Edited by MrHaz

Did another box. 26 percent copper with 6 Wheaties. The oldest was a 1927d which was a hole filler for me. Also a 1998 WAM and a wierd 1984 that might be a slight double die. I will try to get a picture for you. |

Neither can I. It has me thinking about getting back into to roll hunting game, but I know my time is very limited these days. Hopefully these finds will continue long enough for my son to reach the right age and join me in the hunt.  |

Another box down. Other daughter helped this time. 1996 Canada cent. 1916, 17, 40D, 46x2, 53, and a 58. Not the greatest box but my oldest LWC so far to be found. |

I think I found a couple 1998 WAM and maybe a double earlobe 1984. I was hoping for opinions on these. Sorry the pictures are not very good. It is hard to hold a magnifying glass and a camera at the same time. Here is the 1984. It is near the bottom of earlobe where it looks like it is doubled.  Here is another image of same coin.  Here is a 1998 that I think is a WAM.  I think this 1998 might be a WAM as well.  I am 19 and new to serious collecting so all your help and opinions are appreciated. |

brenpickle: the first 1998 definately looks like a WAM so congrats. The second one does too, but I won't guarantee it until I get a closer image of the america. it's a little blurry and hard to tell from that picture. |

lol...just for the heck of it I just set up the klopp so I could count all of my zincolns from the past few weeks of roll searching...
$101.16 (and I think I dropped a few on the ground)
I love being able to count that much coinage in less than 10 minutes. Now to get an account at the bank that accepts bagged coins instead of standing in front of the coinstar machine for a half an hour (plus lugging in a 5 gallon bucket that is half full).

I have 2 rolls of 1999's that are all errors. I used to play with the change at a store my mom managed when I was little. I opened the rolls myself still sealed in the original mint shipping box to the bank, and two of the rolls were all blank. Unfortunatly I cant get them certified due to the fact they have no dates on them, LOL. I'm at work right now, but I will post a picture later tonight when I get home.

So I got up kind of early to get my paycheck and get coins from the bank. I picked up a box of nickels and one of cents. When I got home my wife was still in bed and looked really sleepy. I set the boxes of coins by my bed and went in to the bathroom. when I got back into the room this is what I saw:  She had slightly gotten up and set up her roll station. I thought it was hilarious. She has really enjoyed searching for me lately. And of course she is the one that found the 1909 because wifes always get the best finds when they help their husbands. anyways here it is:   oh and here is a better picture of the 1970 s small date I found last week. kind of crummy looking but I am still excited about it:   But yeah, I roll search extensively and my wife rarely helps... and yet she has the best records. she found the oldest wheat, a 1909 when my oldest is a 1916. she found the most wheats in one roll, 4, when I only found 2 in a roll. she found the most silver dimes in a box, 7, when I only found 3. and she found the most silver dimes in a roll. Man if I want good finds all I need to do is let my wife search for me. that's what I've learned. Edited by murrellington

How cool is that?!! My wife has ZERO interest in searching and not much above zero for my collecting. Lucky you for having a wife that's interested in the hobby. Finding that 1909 was definately a help!
