And the weird thing is that there were eight of them in the same roll! All 1976D, and all have two counterstamps (the liberty bell and the outline of the states). All have glue and paper residue on the backs, so they must have been glued to a board or something. Must have had something to do with the Bicentennial. These are my first counterstamps... some people collect these, right? I'm not sure what I'll do with them. I assume a double counterstamp is even more desirable, right? LastGold Valued Member United States 228 Posts	Posted 09/03/2011 2:56 pm On Sunday July 31st, I made an amazing discovery in a customer wrapped roll of Lincoln cents... the coin was found in San Diego Ca. I purchased a zOrb digital camera hoping to use it to post images. I found it created images that contained too many pixels (apparently too big). I used my brother's cell phone (and they had to be resized to fit) this posting. Sorry guys, I'm just a low tech photo guy - and have not yet mastered the resizing feature to make the zorb images fit! These are the best photos I could arrange given cell phone capabilites, and my limited photo sizing/cropping/imaging capabilities... I'll get better eventually... I got CWR Lincoln cents on 7-30-11 and checked them the next day. By the way, I dump my coins at the Union Bank of Ca. (in Poway). If you're going to venture away from the East county, might want to avoid that bank! I'm going to now, get back to the Zorb, and try altering resolutions on images, to make the thing work on this website! Report this Post to the Staff

My wife's grandfather lives in del mar so when we visit him I stop in clairmont to dump. The Pacific Trust bank there has a free coin counter in the lobby if you have an account there. At Union Bank Of California, you just have to hand wrap your coins when you dump, correct? Report this Post to the Staff

And I dont get coins at Pacific trust bank, I dump there. There are a few in san diego. They have free coin counters for customers. So I dump at the coin counter in clairemont when I go there.
