Im going to send it to ANACS if they will look at it. I thought it might be a fake but then it wasn't magnetic and for some reason the three has a slight double below it. Weird right? Oh well. Thanks for the reply's.

Just finished up my 2nd box of cents earlier tonight.... drum roll, please...

433 coppers which is 17.3%; or about 8.5 coppers per roll.

4 wheaties ('34, '44, '47, '56)
1 Panamanian cent ('96)
2 Canadian cents ('78, '00)

I do like searching cents. Think I'll pick up a box every time I go to the bank. Nickels are ok too but not as much variety there.

just a question. I don't know if someone else asked but, what do you all do with your pennies that you don't keep? just wrap em and bank em?

I re-roll them and swap out my searched box for a new one, about once a week. My bank even gives me new roll wrappers with each box!

If I had to reroll I think I would quit. I dump at a free coin counter.

I really don't mind re-rolling my pennies, as I really don't do that many that often. Now, if my bank had a coin counter I'd use it, but I'm not going to drive cross town to get to it. Moral to the story: do what works for you.

Brinks box today. I was getting really down because I love finding wheats in my roll searching and this box was my lowest haul of wheat ever. In the end it pulled out of the nosedive as you will see.
Totals
Copper.. 24.4%
Canadian.. 5 ( though one was a nice 1967 centennial)
Wheats.. 5 ( oldest was 1956 )

But what pulled it out of the nosedive was this........

My first WAM ever

I can only hope this is a Wide AM as well as the recent other two that has just been found! my brother noticed my recent hobby of coin collecting and gave me his spare change and found it in the pile! but I also have a question. does the L in liberty look close to the edge to you? (it was my 1968 s from an earlier pick this week) and is this special?

One of my Lincoln roll searching finds today is not a Lincoln Cent, but notable in it's own right... today I pulled from my box of Lincoln cents a 2006 no P no Logo magnetic Canadian penny! While not super rare, it is a harder to find variety.

I'm in Ohio and Canadian pennies are usual finds here, say about 2 per roll normally. This would have been a good find even in a box of Canadian pennies, so I feel extra lucky I found it in a box of US cents.

Just goes to show you never know what will turn up in bank boxes!

The L is normal for the 1968. The master hub was extremely worn in 1968 after decades of use (since 1916!). It caused most of the 60's cents to appear worn and the devices to merge with the boarder.
