My Whitman album stayed with that hole for a long time when I was a kid. They are still around in rolls although they are quite rare.

It had never dawned on me that the 55s was so scarce in roll hunting. In an unususal act of organization, I recently segregated all my wheats by year, rolled for storage. I pulled out 3 rolls labelled 1955 and look through them. 150 coins, only 4 were 'S'. Plus the one in my folder, that brings the total to 5. Out of the thousands of wheat cents I have, only 5 are s mints.
