Great looking 55-S. I didn't find one for about two years 50 years ago. I've found a few since though. Congrats.

Are 55-S cents really that sought after? I managed to find one a couple of years ago roll-searching with a bit worn (but slightly toned) obverse and an red AU reverse. Other than the AU reverse, I didn't think it was a big deal when I found it.

I found a BU 55s a while ago, had more marks than that, though.

The 68-S looks like a proof! Not sure about the 69S given the pictures.

Heck ya! They are low mintage of like 45M. If I remember, the lowest mintage wheat since the 1930's decade.

Thanks badthad. Coincidentally it was actually my first wheat I found in my first ever roll-search. Unfortunately that AU reverse toned ugly a bit from improper keeping (now have it safely in a 2x2). Still nice to know I'm lucky to have found one in the wild.

I dont know why is so hard to find a LWC proof roll searching ?!. This is the only one I found so far . And is hard to tell too ! I only know because of the mirror filds plus the very sharp edge and strike , I wish I have a nice cam to post nice pics to you guys see what I'm saying ..
