It's hard to find a proof roll searching because they were only issued in proof sets and not intended for circulation.

I went through the other rolls I got yesterday and here are the results: 1969S-six 1968S- two 1905 Indian Head centI'm almost positive that the 69s & 68s are proofs. It's difficult to tell from my pics from previous post, but their luster and sharpness is just amazing. Gonna stop by again today and see how many more rolls they have. I'm the only guy who get's rolls from them, so hopefuly there's some more waiting for me!

Stopped back after work today and picked up $20 more. I now have a total of 17 proofs from the $40 worth I have gotten in the last 24 hours!

I KNOW! I still can't believe it. Have tried to upload image of all of them four times but for some reason it won't let me?

How big is your image file? What error are you getting when it fails?

They are zinc bubbles. Something about the copper layer not bonding well with the zinc core I think. A common problem among early zincs.

Jangofett, thanks. We've gone through about 300 rolls over the last month and it's amazing how bad the quality was in the late 80's and early 90's on these coins. We at least found a few "s" mints from the 60's so it wasn't a total skunk.

The thing is finding early red zincs without zinc bubbles, or any other problem.
