i am getting my first box of pennies tomorrow and I am excited. I am new to coin collecting and I am drawn to the fact that all pre 1982 pennies are worth more than double the face value.
i plan on keeping all the coppers and varations I find. The question I have is what do you guys do with all the zinc pennies? do you return them to the bank, and if so in what way (rolled or loose)?

All the others (zinc) go back... I roll mine (my bank even provides the wrappers) but if your bank has a coin counting machine, you can return them loose. Good luck, and...

So do any of you do anything while going through your pennies? personally I lay down listening to music as I sort through. I know other people do this while watching tv. I'm just curious to see if there is any other ideas =)

You can also do it while ignoring your wife/significant other telling you to do something.
