Seems 1980 was a common year for wood grain cents, I have found quite a few in that year. What is really interesting is that they span both mints in that year. There were quite a few early 80's BU cents, some decent reds from the 60's and 70's and even a red 1959. Here's a few of them: The one at the very top is a 1984D. Here are the results of my latest activity: Source: $13 of Penny Rolls in white paper wrappers, Chase Bank, Nelson Rd, LA Wheat penny Finds: 1949 1953 1958D Wheats were all in poor shape. Only about 50 coppers pulled from this batch, majority of coins were in poor condition with calcification on surface. Water fountain haul? Report this Post to the Staff
